Our club belongs to sporting technical school at the district committee of Society of assistance to ukrainian Army, main office is in central part of the town near Stepan Bandera Park, Sadova str, 6.

This club was created in 1981, then UK5WAT, from 1983 - UB4WWT, and after 1993 - UR4WWT. The unchanging chief of our club during those three decades is Yaroslav Moskvyak UT4WT (from 1971 till 1994 UB5WBX).

In a technical class where the club station is placed, from 1981 untill '91 mostly local youth practiced morse code and learned military equipment and communication techniques, mainly for the necessities of army and national economy of the USSR then. After 1992 activity of the club was limited to constructing of aerials and tranceivers/amplifiers by a few operators, and also chasing of rare DX and WPX on HF and casually on VHF, it still didn't changed much in a recent years.
